Welcome to Between Us

By using Between Us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Between Us provides relationship reflection and analysis tools designed to help people understand communication patterns and strengthen their relationships.

What Between Us Is (and Isn't)

Between Us is a relationship insight tool, not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or crisis care. Our reports offer research-backed perspectives to spark conversation and self-reflection. If you or your partner are experiencing serious relationship difficulty, danger, or distress, seek help from a licensed professional or crisis resource.

Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Each person must have their own account — sharing accounts undermines the accuracy of assessments.
• You may only join one couple space at a time.

Assessments & Reports

• Reports are generated using AI analysis of the assessment responses or conversations you choose to provide.
• Individual answers remain private and are not shown to another user.
• Reports are based on research frameworks but are not clinical diagnoses.
• Reports should not be used as evidence in legal, custody, divorce, employment, immigration, insurance, or similar proceedings.
• Report accuracy depends on honest, thoughtful input and may be limited when the available data is thin or one-sided.

Conversation Insights

• Conversation Insights is optional and only runs when you choose to upload a conversation.
• You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to access and share any conversation you upload.
• Do not upload conversations that include people outside your relationship, minors, workplace material, privileged communications, or content you do not have permission to share.
• Conversation Insights reports are about communication patterns in the submitted material. They are not verdicts about another person.
• The raw conversation you upload is retained for up to 30 days so you can revisit the exchanges behind your report, then automatically deleted. You can delete an upload and its report at any time.

Community Guidelines

When participating in the community:

• Be respectful and supportive of other couples’ experiences.
• Do not share identifying information about others without consent.
• No harassment, hate speech, or deliberately harmful content.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

Payments & Subscriptions

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your profile.
• One-time report purchases, including Conversation Insights purchases, unlock the report tied to that checkout session.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support for assistance.
